It’s Possible to Recover and Live
Fully After Breast Cancer

BUT ONCOLOGY REHAB CAN BE HARD & CONFUSING

You may be struggling with:

  • Lack of reputable information on rehabilitation for breast cancer and little access to physical therapy
  • Uncomfortable physical symptoms, such as pain, tightness, and fatigue
  • Draining emotions including uncertainty and the feeling that your life is never going to be the same again
  • Lack of reputable information on living with & after breast cancer
  • Your doctor brushing your symptoms off as the “new normal” that you’re not willing to accept
  • Feeling that living with & after breast cancer is a full-time job that you have to integrate with other responsibilities, such as your family and work

If this sounds like what you’re going through,
I have good news for you.

Meet Kelly Sturm

Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT, DPT), Board-Certified Oncology Specialist, CLT-LANA

I’ve spent a decade specializing in breast cancer physical therapy, and there’s one thing that I know for certain —
You don’t have to accept pain, discomfort, and limitations as a part of your “new normal.”

There are steps you can take to minimize your symptoms and maximize your life, and I created Breast Cancer Rehab to help you do just that.

I believe that no one should have to go through breast cancer alone.

But unfortunately, high-quality support during breast cancer rehabilitation isn’t always readily available. And when it is, it’s often inaccessible because of the cost.

To bridge the gap, I took the exact information & exercises I use with my private patients and turned it into Breast Cancer Rehab, an online breast cancer physical therapy program that comes at a fraction of the cost of in-person PT sessions.

My hope is that this program will make physical therapy for breast cancer patients more accessible so more people can reclaim control of their lives.

A Note on Affordability

My objective has always been to make support and education for those living with & after cancer as accessible as possible.

To make Breast Cancer Rehab more affordable, there are scholarships available to assist those in need. Please submit the form here. If the program is not the right fit for you, I also have hundreds of hours of free content available on YouTube. You can start watching here.

Physical therapy is one of the most important parts of breast cancer recovery. It helps you regain strength, mobility, and confidence after treatment. It also reduces your risk of lymphedema – a common side effect of breast cancer treatment.

Breast Cancer Rehab has 6 separate programs, each targeting a specific aspect of breast cancer rehabilitation, such as managing breast swelling, scar tissue, uncomfortable symptoms after radiation, and more.

Most people can start gentle physical therapy exercises (such as stretches) 2-6 weeks after surgery. Each surgery is unique so it’s important to follow your surgeon’s guidelines of when it is safe for you to start. You want to wait until incisions are fully closed and healed before starting exercises and follow the lifting restrictions put in place by your surgeon.

Going through breast cancer will likely create a lasting change in your life, but it’s possible to start living fully again and return to your favorite activities with proper support and rehabilitation. Physical therapy can help you minimize uncomfortable physical symptoms, such as pain, tightness, and fatigue – you don’t have to accept them as your “new normal.”
